✈️ PC-12 Captain — Seasonal Wildfire Support (Contract)
Fly with purpose. Crew a Pilatus PC-12 supporting our Fire Boss fleet across Alaska and the Western U.S. during the 2026 wildfire season.
🧭 The Mission
In 2025, we leased a Pilatus PC-12 to support our fleet of Fire Boss aircraft. We are leasing the same aircraft in 2026 and seeking a professional, type-rated captain to crew it primarily during the fire season. You’ll begin with our annual training exercises in early March at our facility in Cleburne, Texas. From there, the aircraft joins the operation in May, transitions to Alaska until early August, and then moves throughout the Pacific Northwest and Western states. If wildfire conditions warrant, an earlier return to the Lower 48 may occur.
🧰 What You’ll Do
- Operate the PC-12 safely and efficiently to support Fire Boss operations, including crew and equipment transport and operational repositioning.
- Participate in annual training and readiness events in early March (Cleburne, TX).
- Plan, brief, and execute multi-leg missions across Alaska and the Western U.S., adapting to changing weather, terrain, and mission priorities.
- Conduct thorough preflight, weight and balance, fuel planning, performance calculations, and postflight documentation.
- Coordinate closely with dispatch, maintenance, and flight operations; ensure aircraft airworthiness and timely servicing.
- Uphold strict safety standards, regulatory compliance, and professional communication with internal teams and agency partners.
- Remain flexible to dynamic schedules and travel demands driven by fire activity.
🌟 Minimum Requirements
- 1500 hours total time
- 300 hours in type (PC-12)
- PC-12 type rating required
- Valid FAA CPL with IR and ME
- Current Class 2 medical
- Willing and able to travel extensively March–September
- Visa sponsorship not available; must be eligible to work without sponsorship
🧭 Operating Footprint
