✈️ Lead critical missions as a PC-12 Captain
Join a mission-driven flight team operating the Pilatus PC-12 in support of time-sensitive medical transport. As the PIC, you will deliver safe, precise, and compassionate air service across LFN’s service area—day or night, IFR or VFR—while upholding the highest professional standards.
🧭 Role overview
In this captain-level role, you will command PC-12 operations with a focus on safety, judgment, and teamwork. You will collaborate closely with operations and clinical teams, adapt to dynamic mission requirements, and navigate diverse terrain and weather with confidence.
- Exercise full PIC authority while ensuring compliance with all applicable FARs and company procedures.
- Plan and execute IFR and VFR missions, including unaided night operations and performance-critical environments.
- Conduct thorough preflight and postflight activities, performance and weight-and-balance calculations, and precise fuel planning.
- Communicate clearly with dispatch, medical crews, and stakeholders; deliver a professional, customer-focused experience.
- Maintain accurate logs, reports, and documentation using Microsoft Office Suite.
- Travel by personal or company vehicle throughout LFN’s service area as needed to support operations.
🧰 Minimum requirements
- License: FAA ATP
- Medical: Class 2
- Total PIC: 2,500 hours
- Turbine time: 1,500 hours
- Instrument time: 250 hours
- Unaided night: 250 hours
- Professional pilot experience: Minimum 5 years
- Type Rating: Not required (training provided)
- Accepted licenses: FAA
🌟 Preferred qualifications
- 25 hours operating a PC-12 and successful completion of PC-12 ground and flight school within the last 12 months (preferred).
- Recent air medical transportation experience (preferred).
- Mountain flying experience (preferred).
🧩 Additional requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to travel by personal or company vehicle throughout LFN’s service area; must hold a valid driver’s license, have an automobile in good repair, and provide proof of auto insurance.
