🧭 Role overview

In this captain-level role, you will command PC-12 operations with a focus on safety, judgment, and teamwork. You will collaborate closely with operations and clinical teams, adapt to dynamic mission requirements, and navigate diverse terrain and weather with confidence.

  • Exercise full PIC authority while ensuring compliance with all applicable FARs and company procedures.
  • Plan and execute IFR and VFR missions, including unaided night operations and performance-critical environments.
  • Conduct thorough preflight and postflight activities, performance and weight-and-balance calculations, and precise fuel planning.
  • Communicate clearly with dispatch, medical crews, and stakeholders; deliver a professional, customer-focused experience.
  • Maintain accurate logs, reports, and documentation using Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Travel by personal or company vehicle throughout LFN’s service area as needed to support operations.

🧰 Minimum requirements

  • License: FAA ATP
  • Medical: Class 2
  • Total PIC: 2,500 hours
  • Turbine time: 1,500 hours
  • Instrument time: 250 hours
  • Unaided night: 250 hours
  • Professional pilot experience: Minimum 5 years
  • Type Rating: Not required (training provided)
  • Accepted licenses: FAA

🌟 Preferred qualifications

  • 25 hours operating a PC-12 and successful completion of PC-12 ground and flight school within the last 12 months (preferred).
  • Recent air medical transportation experience (preferred).
  • Mountain flying experience (preferred).

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to travel by personal or company vehicle throughout LFN’s service area; must hold a valid driver’s license, have an automobile in good repair, and provide proof of auto insurance.
