  • Licensing Authority: FAA
  • Medical: FAA Class 2
  • Readiness: Duty pilot will respond to dispatch requests within five (5) minutes
  • Coverage: Quick‑response, 24/7 — days or nights, any day of the week

🧭 What you’ll do

  • Serve as PIC in multi‑engine aircraft under Part 135 on‑demand operations.
  • Maintain rapid launch readiness and, when on duty, respond to dispatch within five (5) minutes.
  • Execute safe, compliant flights in all phases—preflight planning, performance, weight and balance, fuel, and weather analysis.
  • Operate to company SOPs and meet or exceed CFR and company standards, including 14 CFR 135.243(c)(1)–(3).
  • Demonstrate sound airmanship in night and instrument environments, including actual IFR.
  • Collaborate with dispatch, maintenance, and leadership to ensure on‑time, mission‑ready service.

🧰 Minimum qualifications

  • Total time: 1,200 hours minimum
  • Cross‑country: 500 hours minimum
  • Night: 100 hours minimum
  • Instrument: 75 hours actual or simulated, including at least 50 hours actual
  • Certificates: CPL with IR and MEFAA
  • Medical: FAA Class 2
  • Regulatory: Meets flight and operational experience per CFR 135.243(c)(1)–(3)
  • Type Rating: Not required (Non‑Type Rated; training provided)

Note: PIC airplane hours less than 1,000, or total time less than 1,500, may be considered if all other minimum requirements are met.

  • Strong recent multi‑engine and actual IFR experience
  • Proven track record in time‑critical, customer‑focused operations

🕑 Schedule & readiness

  • Provides quick‑response coverage 24/7 and is available to work days and nights, any day of the week.
  • While on duty, the duty pilot will respond to dispatch requests within five (5) minutes.
  • Maintains compliance with applicable duty, rest, and operational control requirements.

🎓 Training & development

  • Company-provided training and checking to qualify for assigned aircraft and operations.
  • Ongoing proficiency, SMS participation, and recurrent training to support safety and career growth.
