🧭 What you’ll do
- Command Dash 8 operations, ensuring the highest standards of safety, compliance, and operational performance.
- Lead preflight planning, performance calculations, briefings, and decision-making under Performance Class A procedures.
- Uphold SOPs and regulatory requirements, maintaining strict adherence to company policies and KCAA regulations.
- Foster a strong CRM culture—coaching, mentoring, and supporting the First Officer and cabin crew.
- Manage all phases of flight, including complex and multi-sector schedules, with professionalism and efficiency.
- Represent the flight deck with clear, confident radio telephony and stakeholder communication.
🧰 Minimum requirements
- Total time: 3,000 hours minimum
- In type (Dash 8): 1,000 hours
- PIC on type: 500 hours
- Multi-engine: 1,000 hours
- Turbine: 1,500 hours
- Type rating: Current Dash 8 rating (required)
- Flight time notes: Gas Turbine Rated; Performance A Rated
📜 Licences, certificates, and language
- Licence required: ATPL
- Accepted authority: KCAA
- Medical: Class 1
- Radiotelephony: Valid Radio Telephony Licence
- ICAO English: Level 4 or higher
