🧭 About the role
As a Metroliner First Officer, you’ll support the Captain across all phases of flight, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant operations. You’ll apply strong CRM and SOP discipline, contribute to planning and performance, and take a hands-on role in a dynamic, multi-crew environment.
🧰 What you’ll do
- Execute preflight planning, weather/NOTAM review, performance, and weight & balance.
- Operate the Metroliner to company SOPs, maintaining high standards of airmanship.
- Manage radios, navigation, and aircraft systems; monitor fuel and flight progress.
- Champion safety, CRM, and threat & error management in daily operations.
- Assist with post-flight duties, tech log entries, and continuous improvement feedback.
🌟 Minimum requirements
- Total time: 500 hours
- PIC time: 150 hours
- Multi-engine: 150 hours
- Flight time options: 150 hours PIC multi‑engine; or 150 hours PIC single‑engine turbine; or 150 hours co‑pilot in a multi‑engine turbine, multi‑crew type
- License: CPL, IR, ME (Australia, CASA)
- Medical: Class 1
- ICAO ELP: Level 6
- Visa sponsorship: Not provided
- Work rights: Unrestricted right to live and work in Australia
NTR welcome: Comprehensive type training is provided for successful candidates.
