Metroliner First Officer (Training Provided)

🧭 The mission

As a Metroliner First Officer, you’ll support the Captain in delivering safe, efficient, and compliant IFR operations. You’ll apply SOPs, exercise strong CRM, and contribute to on-time performance while maintaining a safety-first mindset.

• Execute all phases of flight in accordance with company SOPs and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in flight planning, performance calculations, and weight-and-balance.
• Monitor flight progress, systems, and weather; provide timely callouts and decision support.
• Coordinate with dispatch, maintenance, and ground teams to ensure operational readiness.
• Uphold high standards of airmanship, checklist discipline, and threat/error management.
• Contribute to a positive safety culture through hazard reporting and continuous improvement.

🧰 Minimum requirements

• Total time: 500 hours (minimum)
• Licence: TCCA CPL with IR and ME
• Medical: Class 1
• ICAO ELP level: 4 or higher
• Type rating: Not required (training provided)

🛡️ Additional requirements

• Background check: Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector completed within the last 30 days
• Work authorization: Visa sponsorship is not provided; candidates must be legally entitled to work in Canada
