As a Metroliner First Officer, you will support safe, efficient multi-engine turboprop operations, working closely with the Captain to execute precise flight planning, disciplined checklist usage, and professional IFR communication. It’s a strong platform for commercially driven aviators—particularly instructors—seeking to deepen real-world multi-engine and instrument experience.
🧰 Minimum Qualifications
- Total Time: 500 hours
- PIC Time: 350 hours
- Multi-Engine: 25 hours
- XC: 300 hours (point-to-point)
- Night: 50 hours
- Instrument: 75 hours (50 in aircraft)
- Endorsements: High performance and complex
- IPC: Within past 6 months
- Licenses Required: CFI, CPL, IR, ME (Accepted licenses: FAA)
- Medical: FAA Class 1
- Type Rating: Not required — training provided
🧰 Additional Requirements
- Maintain a valid passport
- No restrictions on international travel
- FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit
- Meet airport badging requirements, including a TSA security background check
- Valid Driver’s License and ability to meet company insurance criteria
- English proficient

✈️ What You’ll Do
- Execute preflight planning, performance, and weight-and-balance in coordination with the Captain
- Operate the SA227 in accordance with company procedures and regulations
- Conduct IFR, night, and multi-engine turboprop operations with disciplined checklist usage
- Communicate professionally with ATC using proper radio procedures
- Uphold safety, regulatory compliance, and meticulous flight documentation
- Maintain currency and readiness for recurrent training and proficiency checks
