🧭 The opportunity
As a Metroliner Captain, you’ll lead every sector with safety, discipline, and situational awareness—setting the tone for the flight deck, mentoring crew, and delivering a consistently professional operation. You’ll join a team that invests in your training and supports your progression.
🧰 What you’ll do
- Captain Metroliner (SA227) operations in adherence to SOPs, company policies, and regulatory standards.
- Exercise sound decision‑making in all phases of flight, with an uncompromising commitment to safety and compliance.
- Lead effective CRM, fostering clear communication and teamwork on the flight deck and with ground teams.
- Conduct thorough flight planning, performance calculations, weight & balance, and weather/NOTAM analysis.
- Coordinate with dispatch and maintenance to ensure aircraft readiness and timely defect reporting.
- Maintain accurate operational documentation and flight records.
- Uphold a strong safety culture, including SMS participation and continuous improvement feedback.
🌟 Minimum requirements
- Total time: 2,000+ hours
- Pilot‑in‑Command (PIC): 500+ hours
- Multi‑engine: 500+ hours
- Multi‑engine PIC: 500+ hours
- Experience: Minimum 2 years
- Licence: Current, unrestricted ATPL — TCCA
- Medical: Class 1
- ICAO ELP: Level 4 or higher
- Type rating: Not required (training provided)
🧩 Additional requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- Restricted Radiotelephone Operator License
- Valid passport
- Effective interpersonal skills; strong CRM mindset
- Excellent oral and written communication
- Willingness to complete a criminal record check
