🧭 The opportunity

As a Metroliner Captain, you’ll lead every sector with safety, discipline, and situational awareness—setting the tone for the flight deck, mentoring crew, and delivering a consistently professional operation. You’ll join a team that invests in your training and supports your progression.

🧰 What you’ll do

  • Captain Metroliner (SA227) operations in adherence to SOPs, company policies, and regulatory standards.
  • Exercise sound decision‑making in all phases of flight, with an uncompromising commitment to safety and compliance.
  • Lead effective CRM, fostering clear communication and teamwork on the flight deck and with ground teams.
  • Conduct thorough flight planning, performance calculations, weight & balance, and weather/NOTAM analysis.
  • Coordinate with dispatch and maintenance to ensure aircraft readiness and timely defect reporting.
  • Maintain accurate operational documentation and flight records.
  • Uphold a strong safety culture, including SMS participation and continuous improvement feedback.

🌟 Minimum requirements

  • Total time: 2,000+ hours
  • Pilot‑in‑Command (PIC): 500+ hours
  • Multi‑engine: 500+ hours
  • Multi‑engine PIC: 500+ hours
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years
  • Licence: Current, unrestricted ATPL — TCCA
  • Medical: Class 1
  • ICAO ELP: Level 4 or higher
  • Type rating: Not required (training provided)

🧩 Additional requirements

  • Valid driver’s license
  • Restricted Radiotelephone Operator License
  • Valid passport
  • Effective interpersonal skills; strong CRM mindset
  • Excellent oral and written communication
  • Willingness to complete a criminal record check

🎓 Training & progression

NTR candidates are encouraged to apply. You’ll receive company‑provided Metroliner (SA227) differences/type training and recurrent training to keep you sharp and compliant.
