Reporting to the Assistant Chief Pilot, the 703/704 Captain safely transports thousands of passengers each year. Your priorities are clear: execute every flight with uncompromising safety, care for passenger comfort, and deliver dependable on-time performance.
🧭 What you’ll do
- Operate the Metroliner as Pilot-in-Command under CARs 703/704 in accordance with company SOPs, CARs, and ATC clearances.
- Champion safety while balancing passenger comfort and on-time performance on every sector.
- Lead flight planning: weather and NOTAM analysis, performance, weight and balance, fuel planning, and MEL/CDL compliance.
- Exercise sound judgment and threat-and-error management; apply disciplined CRM and decision-making.
- Mentor and coordinate with your crew, fostering a professional, just-culture environment.
- Complete accurate operational documentation, journey logs, loadsheets, and safety reports.
🧰 What you bring
- Licences: TCCA CPL with IR and ME (ATPL preferred).
- Medical: Class 1.
- Type Rating: Not required; Metroliner training provided.
- Preferred Time: ATPL with 500 hours on Metroliners.
- Language: Fluent in English; minimum ICAO ELP Level 4 with effective verbal and listening comprehension.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Clearances: Able to obtain and maintain applicable transportation security clearances and authorizations.
