Join a high‑standards Part‑SPO operator as a Line Training Captain, leading line training and standardisation across a varied multi‑engine piston fleet. This is a permanent role for UK CAA licence holders based within 60 minutes of Liverpool (or willing to relocate). No current type rating required — full training provided.
🧭 The mission
Set the tone for operational excellence by training, mentoring and checking flight crew on line operations. You’ll safeguard standards, support SOPs and help drive continuous improvement in a dynamic Part‑SPO environment.
- Deliver line training and standardisation on a single‑pilot, multi‑engine fleet.
- Conduct line checks, route/operational checks and supervised experience for new joins and upgrades.
- Coach crews in CRM, TEM and best‑practice airmanship to embed a strong safety culture.
- Collaborate with the Training Manager/Chief Pilot on scheduling, records and compliance with UK CAA requirements.
- Contribute to SOP refinement and feedback loops from the line to training and safety teams.
🧰 What you’ll bring
- Total Time: 500 hours minimum
- PIC Time: 100 hours minimum
- Multi‑Engine Time: 100 hours minimum
- PIC MEP: At least 100 hours
- Ratings: Hold (or have held) SP ME IR and MEP (Land)
- Licence: CPL + IR + ME (UK CAA)
- Experience: Previous Part‑SPO operations experience
- Driving: Valid UK driving licence
- Location: Lives within 60 minutes of Liverpool or willing to relocate
- Language: ICAO English Level 4 or higher
- Medical: Class 1
