Step into a permanent, standards-focused leadership role delivering line training across a professional multi‑engine operation. With type training provided (NTR), you’ll mentor and develop pilots, uphold SOPs, and elevate safety and performance in a dynamic Part‑SPO environment based around Liverpool.

As Line Training Captain, you’ll shape the frontline standard of our multi‑engine operations. You’ll deliver structured line training, champion best practice, and provide clear, constructive feedback that helps pilots thrive. Working closely with Flight Ops and Training, you’ll promote a strong safety culture and ensure all missions are flown to the highest standard of compliance and professionalism.
🧭 What you will do
- Deliver line training, standardisation and mentoring across the multi‑engine fleet in accordance with Part‑SPO and company SOPs.
- Conduct line checks and provide timely, actionable feedback to support pilot development.
- Promote disciplined TEM/CRM and a proactive safety culture on every sector.
- Support recurrent training and contribute to continuous improvement of syllabi and procedures.
- Work collaboratively with Flight Ops to maintain impeccable operational standards and compliance.
Note: Duties may vary by aircraft and operational tasking.
🧰 Minimum requirements
- Total time: 500 hours minimum
- PIC time: 100 hours minimum
- Multi‑engine time: 100 hours minimum
- PIC MEP: At least 100 hours
- Ratings held (current or previous): Single Pilot Multi‑Engine Instrument Rating; Multi‑Engine Piston (Land)
- Experience: Previous Part‑SPO operations
- Licences: UK CAA CPL, IR, ME
- Medical: Class 1
- ELP: ICAO English Level 4+
- Driving: Hold a valid UK driving licence
- Location: Live within 60 minutes of Liverpool or be willing to relocate
