🧭 The role

As a Learjet First Officer, you will support the Captain in all phases of flight, uphold the highest standards of safety, and deliver exceptional internal and external customer service. You communicate clearly, operate precisely, and represent both the operator and customer/PHI management with professionalism.

This position may require assisting with the loading and unloading of patients and equipment; candidates must be able to safely lift up to 100 pounds as part of the job.

🧰 Minimum qualifications

  • Total Time: 2,000 hours
  • PIC Time: 1,000 hours
  • Multi-Engine PIC: 500 hours
  • Night: 100 hours
  • License: ATP
  • Open to License Holders: FAA
  • Medical: First Class
  • Type Rating: Not required — training provided

🌟 Additional requirements

  • Strong communication skills and excellent internal/external customer service.
  • Interview and acceptance by customer/PHI management.
  • Ability to pass a pre-placement physical exam, including a functional capacity assessment (strength and flexibility), drug screening, and background screen.
  • Capability to lift 100 pounds to assist with patient and equipment loading/unloading.
  • Health screenings and immunizations:
    • Tuberculosis screening.
    • Varicella: two Varivax vaccinations or positive varicella titer.
    • MMR: two MMR vaccinations or positive titers for rubella, rubeola, and mumps.
    • Tdap: tetanus, diphtheria, acellular pertussis if more than two years since last Td booster.
    • Hepatitis B: vaccination series history and positive surface antibody titer for staff at risk of exposure to blood or other potentially infectious material.
    • Annual influenza vaccination (within the last 12 months).
  • COVID-19 vaccination required where permitted by applicable law.
