Take command of safe, efficient regional operations on our ATR 42 fleet. We’re seeking an experienced, type-rated Captain who leads by example, elevates crew performance, and delivers a smooth, on-time experience for our customers—every sector, every day.

  • Medical: Class 1
  • Language: ICAO ELP Level 4+

🧭 The role

As an ATR 42 Captain, you will lead the flight deck with a strong safety mindset, ensure strict regulatory compliance, and uphold the highest standards of airmanship. You’ll mentor First Officers, collaborate closely with cabin and ground teams, and make sound, timely decisions in dynamic operating environments.

🧰 Minimum qualifications

  • Total time: 4,500 hours
  • In type (ATR 42): 500 hours
  • Multi-engine PIC: 2,000 hours
  • Night: 500 hours
  • Instrument: 400 hours
  • Type rating: ATR 42 (current)
  • License required: ATPL
  • Accepted authority: SMCAA
  • Medical: Class 1
  • ICAO ELP: Level 4 or higher

License notes: Candidates should possess a current and valid B1 pilot license issued by the SMCAA. If not qualified for a B1 pilot license, an SMCAA validation based on a valid foreign ATPL is acceptable.

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent
  • Passport: Hold a valid passport
  • Background: Able to pass a criminal background check
  • Radio: Valid VHF radio license (required when operating on an FAA license under SMCAA validation)

🛫 What you’ll do

  • Command ATR 42 operations with uncompromising adherence to SOPs and safety management systems.
  • Plan and execute flights, including fuel, performance, and weather decision-making.
  • Lead, brief, and mentor flight crew; foster a just culture and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance under SMCAA oversight and maintain all required currency.
  • Represent the airline professionally with proactive communication and exceptional operational discipline.
