Step into a high-performance cockpit and build your jet career on the Learjet fleet. This permanent role suits a disciplined, detail-driven First Officer who can respond quickly to short-notice operations from Lanseria. No type rating? No problem — we provide full type training.
🧭 What you will do
- Support the Captain across all flight phases, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient operations.
- Participate in flight planning, performance calculations, weight and balance, and fuel planning.
- Execute SOPs, checklists, and SOP-driven workflows with precision and situational awareness.
- Deliver exceptional professionalism and discretion with clients and crew.
- Maintain aircraft standards, documentation, and readiness for short-notice dispatch.
🧰 Minimum requirements
- Total Time: 1,500 hours
- Multi‑Engine: 500 hours
- Turbine: 500 hours
- Licence: Frozen ATPL with IR and ME (South African SACAA)
- Medical: Class 1
- Language: ICAO ELP Level 4 or higher
- Transport: Own reliable vehicle
- Attention to Detail: Demonstrated precision and thoroughness
🌟 Advantageous
- Full ATP
- Jet experience and/or Learjet 35 (LR35) experience
📍 Operational readiness
- Call‑out Window: Able to reach the Lanseria office within 40 minutes of a confirmed flight call
- Licence Acceptance: SACAA only
