Join a mission-driven flight department conducting domestic and international medical repatriation on the Learjet 40XR. Based at Toronto Pearson, you’ll fly time-sensitive, patient-first missions as part of a tight-knit crew, operating to Canadian and ICAO standards with precision, professionalism, and empathy.
🧭 What you’ll do
- Serve as flight crew on domestic and international medical repatriation missions, ensuring safe, efficient operations in all phases of flight.
- Operate in compliance with Canadian regulations and ICAO standards, with strong checklist discipline and threat & error management.
- Collaborate closely with a small flight and medical team on multi-day deployments, maintaining a patient-first mindset under dynamic schedules.
- Plan and execute performance, fuel, weight & balance, and international procedures; manage routings, alternates, and weather-driven decisions.
- Coordinate professionally with dispatch, ground handlers, and medical partners; ensure timely departures and seamless handoffs.
- Contribute to the company’s safety culture, including SMS participation, reporting, and continuous improvement.
🧰 What you bring
- License: Canadian TCCA ATPL with valid Group 1 IFR
- Medical: Class 1
- Passport: Valid with no travel restrictions
- Relocation: Able to live within 90 minutes of Toronto Pearson (YYZ)
- Experience: Demonstrated ability to operate safely in a high-tempo, international environment as part of a small, cohesive team
- Soft skills: Excellent communication, calm under pressure, and strong interpersonal skills suited to medical operations

- Total Time: 4,000 hours
- Multi-Engine: 500 hours
- Multi-Engine Turbine: 500 hours

🗓️ Schedule & deployments
Expect multi-day rotations away from base (domestic and international). Flexibility, teamwork, and resilience are essential to support time-sensitive medical missions and evolving taskings.
🎓 Training & onboarding
Type rating not required — full training provided on the Learjet 40XR. You’ll receive comprehensive ground and flight instruction aligned with company SOPs and international procedures.
