Learjet 60 Captain – Part 91/135 (Type Rating Provided)
✈️ Lead the Flight Deck as a Learjet 60 Captain
PRIVAIRA is hiring a proven Pilot in Command to lead safe, efficient operations on our midsize Learjet 60 under Part 91 and 135. If you bring sound judgment, sharp airmanship, and an impeccable safety record, we’ll provide type training and the support of a professional, safety-first flight department.
🧭 What you’ll do
- Serve as Pilot in Command for domestic and international flights in accordance with FAR Part 91/135 and company policies.
- Own all facets of flight planning and execution: performance, W&B, fuel, weather/NOTAMs, alternates, and route/airspace considerations.
- Lead crew briefings and practice strong CRM; mentor and support the SIC to drive a high-performance cockpit culture.
- Ensure regulatory compliance worldwide (FAA, ICAO and applicable international rules) and champion a safety-first mindset.
- Coordinate with Dispatch/Maintenance; manage MEL/CDL items and document discrepancies accurately.
- Uphold exceptional client care, discretion, and on-time performance.
- Complete flight logs, reports, and company records with precision and timeliness.
🧰 Minimum qualifications
- Total Time: 3,000 hours
- PIC: 1,500 hours
- Multi-Engine: 1,500 hours
- Turbine: 200 hours
- Instrument: 250 hours (total)
- License: FAA — ATP Written required
- Medical: First Class

- Initial or recurrent 14 CFR Part 142 training in type within the last 24 months (preferred).
- Impeccable safety record and professional references.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Working knowledge of all regulations applicable to FAR Part 135 and Part 91.
- Thorough knowledge of FAA, ICAO, and other international flight operations regulations.
- Strong organizational skills and advanced multi-tasking abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal/written, and presentation skills.
- Computer proficiency with word processing, email, and web-based/mobile applications.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and comply with random drug/alcohol testing as required.
📍 Location & travel
- Reside within a 2-hour call-out of your assigned home base (or be willing to relocate).
- Unrestricted ability to travel to Canada and Caribbean countries.
🧾 Credentials & documents
- Valid U.S. driver’s license.
- Current passport.
- FCC Restricted Radio License.
- Ability to release records to, and successfully pass, an FAA Pilot Records Database (PRD) review with a System Chief Pilot.
