✈️ The opportunity
We’re looking for an experienced SIC to uphold our safety culture, regulatory compliance, and white-glove service standards. You’ll support all phases of flight—from meticulous preflight planning to smooth execution in the air—while ensuring our passengers are cared for with professionalism on every leg.
🧭 What you’ll do
- Act as Second-in-Command on the Learjet 45XR across Part 91/135 operations, ensuring adherence to federal, state, local, and foreign regulations.
- Conduct thorough preflight inspections; review and brief flight plans, NOTAMs, and performance data.
- Analyze weather for destination, en route, and alternates; contribute to risk assessments and contingency planning.
- Prepare and verify weight-and-balance, fuel burn, and aircraft performance calculations.
- Coordinate effectively with the Captain and crew to execute SOPs and checklists to standard.
- Assist the PIC with decisions related to flight start, delays, cancellations, or route deviations to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Ensure the aircraft is properly provisioned and cabin-ready for passenger safety and comfort.
- Maintain clear radiotelephone communications and professional interaction with ATC, ground personnel, and passengers.
- Remain available and responsive to crew and departmental staff during assigned duty periods.
- Work a nonstandard schedule, including weekends and holidays, while safeguarding hard days off.
🧰 What you’ll bring
- Valid FAA ATP certificate with Multi-Engine Land rating.
- Minimum 1,500 hours total time and 150 hours multi-engine.
- Current First Class Medical Certificate.
- Proficiency in radiotelephone communications.
- Ability to pass drug testing and TSA background screening.
- Valid passport and driver’s license.
- High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Residence within a two-hour personal commute of Aurora Municipal Airport (KARR); able to obtain airport ID badge and ramp driving privileges.
- Proficiency with business software (MS Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Polished customer service skills and a professional, safety-focused demeanor.

- Schedule: Nonstandard; includes weekends and holidays with designated hard days off.
