🧭 What You’ll Do
- Operate the Learjet 45/45XR as First Officer in accordance with SOPs, regulations, and company policies.
- Conduct thorough preflight planning, performance calculations, and risk assessments for IFR operations.
- Execute safe, efficient, and timely flights across Canada and internationally (including the United States).
- Apply strong CRM, checklist discipline, and SMS participation to uphold a just culture of safety.
- Master aircraft systems and Airmedic‑specific procedures to support mission success.
- Maintain meticulous documentation, duty time compliance, and operational readiness.
🧰 What You Bring
- Excellent knowledge of the Learjet 45XR and Airmedic‑specific systems and procedures.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid PPC as First Officer on the Learjet 45/45XR (to be obtained).
- No criminal record that would impede unrestricted travel to the United States and internationally.
- Valid passport and authorization to travel without restriction outside Canada.
- Eligibility to obtain a Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC).
- Meets minimum ICAO Level 5 French and English language proficiency standards.
- Capacity to perform a normal and sustained work assignment for 14 consecutive days, with duty days up to 14 hours, including weekends and public holidays.
🌟 Flight Time Minimums
- Total time: 750 hours
- Multi‑engine: 250 hours
- IFR experience: 500 hours
- Type rating: Not required (training provided)
🎯 Preferred Experience
- 250 hours on turboprop or jet (important asset).
- Experience in similar operations (important asset).
- Previous experience as First Officer on Learjet 40XR (significant asset).
- Time on Learjet 40/45/70/75 series (including LR45XR and LR40XR).
📜 Certifications & Clearances
- Licence: TCCA with IR and ME; SAMRA & SARON completed.
- Medical: Class 1.
- ELP: ICAO Level 5 (French and English).
- Travel: Eligible for unrestricted international travel, including the United States.
- RAIC: Eligible to obtain and maintain.
- Work authorization: Must be legally entitled to work in Canada; visa sponsorship is not provided.

- Ability to work 14 consecutive days on assignment.
- Duty days up to 14 hours, including weekends and public holidays.
- Readiness for domestic and cross‑border missions as operationally required.
