🧭 What You’ll Do

  • Operate the Learjet 45/45XR as First Officer in accordance with SOPs, regulations, and company policies.
  • Conduct thorough preflight planning, performance calculations, and risk assessments for IFR operations.
  • Execute safe, efficient, and timely flights across Canada and internationally (including the United States).
  • Apply strong CRM, checklist discipline, and SMS participation to uphold a just culture of safety.
  • Master aircraft systems and Airmedic‑specific procedures to support mission success.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation, duty time compliance, and operational readiness.

🧰 What You Bring

  • Excellent knowledge of the Learjet 45XR and Airmedic‑specific systems and procedures.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a valid PPC as First Officer on the Learjet 45/45XR (to be obtained).
  • No criminal record that would impede unrestricted travel to the United States and internationally.
  • Valid passport and authorization to travel without restriction outside Canada.
  • Eligibility to obtain a Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC).
  • Meets minimum ICAO Level 5 French and English language proficiency standards.
  • Capacity to perform a normal and sustained work assignment for 14 consecutive days, with duty days up to 14 hours, including weekends and public holidays.

🌟 Flight Time Minimums

  • Total time: 750 hours
  • Multi‑engine: 250 hours
  • IFR experience: 500 hours
  • Type rating: Not required (training provided)

🎯 Preferred Experience

  • 250 hours on turboprop or jet (important asset).
  • Experience in similar operations (important asset).
  • Previous experience as First Officer on Learjet 40XR (significant asset).
  • Time on Learjet 40/45/70/75 series (including LR45XR and LR40XR).

📜 Certifications & Clearances

  • Licence: TCCA with IR and ME; SAMRA & SARON completed.
  • Medical: Class 1.
  • ELP: ICAO Level 5 (French and English).
  • Travel: Eligible for unrestricted international travel, including the United States.
  • RAIC: Eligible to obtain and maintain.
  • Work authorization: Must be legally entitled to work in Canada; visa sponsorship is not provided.

  • Ability to work 14 consecutive days on assignment.
