✈️ Take Command as a Learjet 45 Captain

Jet Linx is seeking a seasoned Pilot in Command to fly our midsize Learjet 45 on Part 91 and Part 135 operations. You will deliver safe, seamless travel while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and customer care. Candidates must live within, or be willing to relocate to, a two-hour call-out of their assigned home base.

  • Employment: Permanent

  • Aircraft: Learjet 45 (LR-45) — Midsize Jet
  • Home Base: Within a 2-hour call-out of assigned base
  • Type Rating: Not required — training provided (NTR)

🧭 What you’ll do

  • Serve as Pilot in Command on the Learjet 45 for domestic and international missions under Part 91 and 135.
  • Plan, brief, and execute each flight: performance, weight and balance, weather/NOTAMs, fuel, alternates, and risk assessment.
  • Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, company procedures, and safety management best practices.
  • Lead the crew, coordinate with maintenance and dispatch, and deliver a polished client experience.
  • Maintain aircraft readiness, records, and professional standards; work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

🧰 Licenses, medical, and clearances

  • License: ATP-qualified (FAA)
  • Accepted Licenses: FAA
  • Medical: First Class
  • Passport: Current, with unrestricted ability to travel to Canada and Caribbean countries
  • Driver’s License: Valid U.S. driver’s license
  • FCC: Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit
  • Drug & Alcohol: Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and comply with random testing
  • FAA PRD: Ability to release and pass a FAA Pilot Record Database (PRD) review with a System Chief Pilot
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Work Environment: Majority of work performed in and around aircraft and terminals

🌟 Minimum flight experience

  • Total time: 3,500 hours
  • PIC time: 2,000 hours
  • In type (LR-45): 250 hours
  • PIC in type: 250 hours
  • Multi-engine: 1,500 hours
  • Multi-engine PIC: 500 hours
  • Turbine: 500 hours
  • Instrument (total): 300 hours
  • Training: Initial or Recurrent Part 142 training in type within the last 24 months preferred

📍 Location & readiness

  • Call-out: Reside within, or be willing to relocate to, a 2-hour call-out of home base
  • Schedule: Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
