Take command of a Learjet 45 as Pilot-in-Command for our Part 135 flight department based in Addison, Texas. You’ll lead safe, efficient, and professional crew operations across domestic and international missions while upholding a rigorous safety and compliance culture. No LR45 type? Qualified captains will receive type training.

  • Location: Addison, TX (KADS) — must reside within 90 minutes; relocation required if not currently local
  • Employment: Permanent
  • Operation: FAR Part 135, crewed
  • Reports to: Chief Pilot
  • Type rating: NTR — training provided; Lear 45 type highly preferred

🧭 What you’ll do

  • Serve as PIC on the Learjet 45 in FAR Part 135 operations.
  • Execute flights safely and efficiently across domestic and international destinations.
  • Lead a two-pilot crew with exemplary CRM and decision-making.
  • Ensure strict adherence to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Plan and brief missions; manage risk, weight and balance, performance, and weather analysis.
  • Coordinate with dispatch, maintenance, and client services to deliver on-time, professional operations.
  • Maintain currency, training, and records in accordance with company and regulatory standards.

🧰 What you bring

  • Certificates: ATP (FAA) required; FAA certificates only.
  • Medical: Current First Class.
  • Total time: 3,500+ hours.
  • Turbine PIC: 1,500+ hours.
  • Type rating: Not required — training provided; Learjet 45 type highly preferred.
  • Skills: Strong CRM, leadership, and communication.
  • Work authorization: Must be legal to work in the U.S.; no visa sponsorship provided.
  • Travel: Ability to travel to any international destination.
  • Compliance: Enrolled in an FAA/DOT Drug & Alcohol Program and able to pass a TSA Criminal History Records Check.
  • Base: Located within 90 minutes of Addison, TX, or willing to relocate prior to start.
