🧰 What you’ll do

  • Serve as Pilot-in-Command on Dash 8 ISR missions in diverse and austere OCONUS environments.
  • Lead, mentor, and standardize multi-disciplinary aircrew; model sound airmanship and mission discipline.
  • Plan and execute missions, including risk assessment, performance calculations, weight and balance, fuel planning, and brief/debrief.
  • Operate and steward advanced avionics, sensors, data links, and other C4ISR payloads; coordinate with ground and air stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with FAA, DoD, ICAO, and company policies, maintaining the highest safety and security standards.
  • Support integration, testing, training, and continuous improvement of Dash 8 ISR configurations and SOPs.
  • Work extended hours, holidays, and shifts as mission tempo requires.

📏 Minimum qualifications

  • FAA CPL with IR and ME; FAA Class 2 Medical.
  • Total Time: 3,000 hours; PIC: 1,500 hours; Multi-Engine: 1,500 hours; Turbine: 1,500 hours.
  • At least 1,500 hours fixed-wing PIC in multi‑engine turboprop and/or jet aircraft ≥ GTOW 12,500 lbs.
  • Able to pass FAA/Military pilot background check and mandatory drug & alcohol screening.
  • Meets current DoD and Combatant Command deployment requirements.
  • Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance required on Day 1.
  • Current passport with ability to obtain international visas; able to pass pre-deployment medical.
  • Willing and able to deploy to various OCONUS locations on an approximate 60/30 rotation; available for extended hours, holidays, and shift schedules.
  • Demonstrated leadership and mentorship; deep knowledge of advanced aviation systems and regulations.
  • Open to FAA license holders.
  • Type rating not required; training provided.

  • Military flight training background.
  • Previous ISR mission experience.
  • Dash 8 experience.
  • Previous OCONUS deployment experience.
  • ATP certificate.

📅 Rotation & travel

  • Standard rotation of approximately 60 days deployed / 30 days off.
  • Deployments to multiple international sites; ability to remain OCONUS for extended periods as mission requires.
