Serve as SIC on deployed, multi‑sensor ISR missions supporting the U.S. Government, allies, and partners—delivering compliant, safe, reliable, effective, efficient, and evolvable flight operations.
🧭 The Mission
Reporting to the Head of Flight Operations, you will operate the Super King Air platform on multi‑sensor ISR tasking as SIC. You will support the Captain and mission crew to ensure operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and mission success in dynamic and contested environments.
🧰 What You’ll Do
- Serve as SIC on deployed ISR sorties in the Super King Air (BE‑200/BE‑300) platform.
- Collaborate with the Captain and mission crew on planning, performance, weight and balance, briefing/debriefing, and risk controls.
- Execute flights in accordance with FAR 14 CFR Parts 61 and 91, company policies, and customer requirements.
- Apply Safety and Risk frameworks, including Safety Management System (SMS) processes and flight risk assessment tools.
- Conduct aviation weather analysis; use flight planning and flight following tools to support safe and efficient decision‑making.
- Maintain aircrew proficiency, records, and regulatory documentation in alignment with FAA and company standards.
- Coordinate internally and externally using professional written and verbal communication, including Microsoft Outlook and Teams.
🌟 Minimum Qualifications
- Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree (any discipline) or 2+ years equivalent aviation experience.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Solid understanding of FAR 14 CFR Parts 61 and 91.
- Systems & Safety: Working knowledge of Aviation Management Systems, SMS, and Risk Management frameworks.
- Operational Skills: Proficient in aviation weather analysis, flight planning, and flight following tools.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal skills; proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Teams.
- Citizenship/Clearance: Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance required.
- Identity: Current U.S. passport and valid U.S. driver’s license required.
- Records: Must meet all FAA records and background requirements, including an acceptable review of the PRD.
🧮 Flight Time & Certifications (Minimum)
- PIC Time: 500 hours (Pilot‑in‑Command).
- Multi‑Engine: 50 hours.
- Operational Experience: At least 1 year in civil or military aviation environments.
- Licenses: FAA CPL with IR and ME.
- Medical: Class 2.
- Type Rating: Not required; training provided.
💡 Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in turbine and multi‑engine aircraft.
- Familiarity with BE‑200 and/or BE‑300 aircraft.
- CFI, CFII, and MEI; or graduate of a U.S. Military Flight Instructor Training Program.
- Exposure to DCMA 8210.1D and CNAF M‑3710.7 flight operations requirements.
