🧭 The Mission

The Pilot role exists to provide professional pilot expertise to the California SIT base, supporting mission-ready ground and flight operations. You’ll contribute to a high-reliability environment where teamwork, communication, and disciplined execution keep every mission on time and on standard.

🧰 What You’ll Do

  • Serve as First Officer on King Air operations, ensuring safety, compliance, and precision from preflight to shutdown.
  • Execute thorough flight planning, performance calculations, and risk assessments with the Captain and operations team.
  • Practice strong CRM, clear radio/crew communications, and professional cockpit discipline.
  • Support all facets of base operations, including briefings, debriefings, documentation, and coordination with ground teams.
  • Uphold SOPs, regulatory requirements, and company standards across ground and flight activities.
  • Continuously develop skills through training, feedback, and mentorship to enhance mission effectiveness.

  • Teachable mindset, self-motivation, and strong work ethic.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Minimum one year since initial pilot certification.
  • Preferred 500+ hours total time.
  • Current FAA CPL with IR and ME.
  • Valid FAA Class 2 Medical Certificate.
