Aviair is growing and we’re seeking experienced King Air 200 Captains to join our team in Broome or Karratha. Expect diverse, meaningful flying across regional and metropolitan Western Australia — from remote community services to scheduled Air Transport Services — in both day and night operations.
🧭 The opportunity
Step into a Captain’s seat that offers variety and purpose. You’ll operate the King Air 200 across Western Australia’s vast landscapes, balancing utility flying with structured transport operations. From coastal hubs to outback strips, your decision-making, leadership, and airmanship will make a real difference to the communities we serve.
🧰 What you’ll do
- Command King Air 200 services in both day and night conditions.
- Operate in single-pilot and multi-pilot environments as required.
- Deliver reliable flying for remote community services and Air Transport Services.
- Navigate a mix of regional and metropolitan routes across WA with a safety-first mindset.
- Lead with professionalism, ensuring exemplary customer care and operational standards.
🌟 Minimum requirements
- Total time: 1500 hours
- PIC time: 1200 hours
- Multi-engine PIC: 150 hours
- Turbine: 150 hours
- Flight time notes: 15 hours PIC at night
- Licence req.: CPL, IR, ME
- Open to Lic. Holders: CASA
- Medical: Class 1
- ICAO ELP level: 4
- Visa sponsorship: Not provided (you must have the right to work in Australia)

🎓 Training & onboarding
No King Air type rating? No problem. Type rating not required — comprehensive aircraft training is provided to set you up for success and ensure operational proficiency on the King Air 200.
