Alerion Aviation is seeking an experienced Captain to operate our Gulfstream IV in Part 91/135 service, based in Wilmington, DE (ILG/KILG). This permanent role supports domestic and international missions with an unwavering focus on safety, professionalism, and exceptional client service. No Gulfstream type rating? Training is provided.

🧭 Your Mission

Serve as PIC on the Gulfstream IV for Part 91/135 operations, including domestic and international flying.
Own flight planning and execution: weather analysis, performance, fuel planning, route/alternate selection, and international procedures.
Uphold the highest standards of safety, CRM, and professionalism; comply with all applicable FARs and company manuals.
Coordinate closely with dispatch, maintenance, and flight operations to ensure seamless, on-time missions.
Deliver discreet, white-glove service to clients and represent Alerion Aviation with integrity at all times.
Maintain currency, training, and accurate records in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.

🧰 Minimum Qualifications

License: FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP)
Medical: FAA First Class
Total Time: 3,000 hours
PIC Time: 3,000 hours
Multi-Engine: 3,000 hours
Multi-Engine PIC: 2,000 hours
Instrument: 300 hours
Passport: Valid, with ability to travel internationally without restrictions
Driver’s License: Valid U.S. driver’s license
Record: No accidents, incidents, or FAA violations within the last 5 years
Residency: Live within a 2-hour radius of Wilmington, DE Airport (KILG)
Drug Test: Ability to pass a DOT pre-employment drug test
Security Check: Ability to pass a TSA fingerprint-based criminal history records check per 49 CFR 1544.229 and 1544.230
Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the U.S.; visa sponsorship is not available
Type Rating: Not required on GIV; training provided

International: Strong international operating experience
Gulfstream: Type rated on Gulfstream GIV or comparable aircraft
