Clay Lacy Aviation is seeking a Captain to lead operations on a brand-new Gulfstream G700 based in Oxford, Connecticut. This permanent, non-commutable role offers the opportunity to fly one of the world’s most advanced business jets across domestic and international routes.
🧭 Role at a Glance
🧰 What You’ll Do
- Serve as Pilot in Command on a brand-new Gulfstream G700 for Part 91/135 missions.
- Champion safety and regulatory compliance in accordance with FARs, the company operations manual, operations specifications, SOPs, and company policies.
- Plan and execute domestic and international flights, including performance, fuel, routing, and risk management.
- Lead the crew using effective CRM; coordinate closely with dispatch/scheduling, maintenance, and owner services.
- Conduct thorough preflight and postflight inspections, weight and balance, and accurate documentation.
- Maintain currency and proficiency; complete required training, checks, and recordkeeping.
- Deliver a refined, owner-focused experience for principals and charter guests.
🌟 Minimum Qualifications
- Total time: 3,500 hours+
- PIC time: 2,000 hours+
- Turbine time: 1,000 hours+
- License: FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP)
- Medical: FAA First-Class (Class 1)
- Type rating: Not required — training provided (NTR welcome)
- Unrestricted ability to travel internationally; valid passport.
- Ability to pass DOT/FAA drug screening and background checks; subject to random drug/alcohol testing.
- Reside within a two-hour drivable commute of Oxford, CT, or be willing to relocate; this is not a commutable schedule.
🧭 Preferred Experience
- Gulfstream G700 type rating with 200+ hours in type.
- Strong PIC record in large-cabin turbine aircraft and Part 91/135 operations.
