Step into the right seat of the Boeing 737NG in a permanent role where safety, professionalism, and teamwork lead every flight. Non‑type rated pilots are welcome—full type training is provided. You’ll operate across a dynamic network that includes WestJet destinations, delivering reliable, customer‑focused operations in a multi‑crew environment.
🧭 What you’ll do
- Operate the Boeing 737NG in a multi‑crew environment in accordance with SOPs and regulatory requirements.
- Support the Captain through all phases of flight—from preflight preparation and performance calculations to post‑flight debrief.
- Apply strong CRM, threat and error management, and checklist discipline.
- Maintain precise communication with ATC, dispatch, and cabin crew to ensure safe, on‑time operations.
- Contribute to a safety‑first culture with sound decision‑making and situational awareness.
🧰 Minimum requirements
- Total time: 2,000 hours
- License required: ATPL — TCCA
- Medical: Class 1
- ICAO English: ELP Level 4
- Type rating: Not required (training provided)
- Security: Ability to obtain a RAIC before completing Initial Ground School
- Background: Clear criminal record and background check
- Drug & alcohol: Ability to pass a pre‑employment screening
- Travel ability: Unrestricted travel to all WestJet destinations; any required visas/travel documents are the candidate’s responsibility
- Visa sponsorship: Not provided
🌟 Preferred experience
- Minimum 500 hours fixed‑wing multi‑engine time and multi‑crew experience
- 3,000+ hours total flight time
- Jet or turboprop experience in a 705 operation
- Previous WestJet Group experience
- Preference given to candidates who exceed minimum qualifications and experience
