✈️ Role overview
As the Gulfstream G600 Lead Captain, you will command safe, efficient, and polished Part 91 operations across intercontinental routes. You’ll set the tone for teamwork, champion a proactive safety culture, and deliver a premium flight experience—every time.
🧭 Key responsibilities
- Serve as Pilot in Command for long‑range, multi‑crew missions, ensuring regulatory compliance and impeccable airmanship.
- Plan and execute flights to global destinations, including performance, fuel, weight and balance, and alternates.
- Uphold and embed FARs applicable to Part 91 and ICAO standards across all phases of flight.
- Lead a robust safety culture using SMS, human factors principles, risk mitigation, and effective CRM.
- Employ EFB platforms, flight‑planning tools, FMS, and modern avionics to optimize execution and decision‑making.
- Mentor and coordinate with crew and ground partners; communicate clearly under time‑critical, high‑pressure scenarios.
- Contribute to SOPs, training, and continuous improvement initiatives within the flight department.
📌 Minimum flight experience
- Total time: 6,000 hours
- Jet: 4,000 hours
- Multi‑engine Turbine: 4,000 hours
- PIC experience: International operations and long‑range, multi‑crew aircraft
✅ Licenses & medical
- License: ATP (FAA)
- Open to Lic. Holders: FAA
- Medical: Class 1
- Type rating: Not required — G600 training provided
🌟 Preferred credentials
- Large‑cabin, long‑range business jet command time—especially GVII/G600/G500, GVI/G650, or similar Gulfstream types.
- Instructor/evaluator experience (Check Airman, TR/FE credentials).
🧰 Additional requirements
- Valid passport and ability to obtain required international visas/permits.
- Thorough familiarity with FARs for Part 91 operations and ICAO standards for international flights.
- Successful completion of pre‑employment background checks, employment verification, drug/alcohol screening, and reference checks per company policy.
- Strong knowledge of SMS, human factors, risk mitigation, and CRM.
- Proficiency with EFBs, flight‑planning software, FMS operations, and modern avionics in a multi‑crew environment.
- Excellent communication, leadership, decision‑making, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to perform under pressure and adapt to varied international operations and logistics.
