This is a permanent captain opportunity centered at DTW, with occasional operations out of Waterford, MI based on the last flight of the assigned aircraft. NTR: No G550 type rating required — training provided.

🧭 Role snapshot

As Captain, you will set the standard for safety, airmanship, and service while operating a large-cabin Gulfstream on varied routes. You’ll partner closely with your crew to deliver on-time, compliant, and passenger-focused flights across domestic and international airspace.

📍 Base & schedule

Primary location: DTW
Secondary operating location: Waterford, MI, depending on aircraft positioning after the last flight
Schedule: Variable — ability to manage a changing work schedule is required
Proximity: Must reside within 2 hours of DTW

🧰 Minimum requirements

Total time: 4,000 hours
License required: ATP
Accepted licenses: FAA
Medical: First Class (Class 1)
Type rating: Not required — training provided (NTR)

🌟 Preferred qualifications

Gulfstream G550 experience
International experience on large-cabin Gulfstreams

🎓 Training & onboarding

Type rating training for the G550 is provided if not already held, along with recurrent training to maintain proficiency, safety, and regulatory compliance.
