As Captain, you will lead safe, compliant, and efficient G450 operations while delivering an exceptional client experience. This role supports premium on-demand missions, including international and extended overwater flights, and represents Latitude 33 Aviation’s high-touch service at every turn.
🧭 What You’ll Do
- Serve as Pilot in Command on Gulfstream G450 missions under Part 135 standards and company procedures.
- Plan and execute domestic, international, and extended overwater flights with precision and professionalism.
- Champion a safety-first culture through disciplined decision-making, CRM, and regulatory compliance.
- Deliver outstanding customer service and clear, courteous communication with clients and crew.
- Maintain currency, training, and readiness to support a dynamic charter schedule.
🧰 Minimum Qualifications
- Total Time: 5,500 hours
- Turbine PIC: 2,000 hours
- Type Rating: Required (G450/GIV-series)
- International Experience: Extended Overwater required
- License Required: ATP
- Accepted Licenses: FAA
- Medical: Class 1 (First-Class)
🌟 Preferred Qualifications
- Multi-Engine PIC: 3,000 hours
- Time in Type: 500 hours (G450/GIV-series)
🤝 Additional Requirements
- No significant accidents, incidents, or enforcements within the last 5 years.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Must live in or be willing to relocate to the Greater San Diego County area.
📍 Location & Base
Primary base is Carlsbad, CA (CRQ). This role supports on-demand charter flying typical of Part 135, including domestic and international missions.
