Executive Jet Management (EJM), a Berkshire Hathaway company, is seeking a skilled Captain for a Gulfstream G450 based in Houston, TX (KCXO). This is a two-pilot account, supported by a dedicated Maintenance Technician, operating under Part 135. The aircraft is exceptionally maintained and a proud new addition to our managed fleet.

  • Annual utilization: ~300 flight hours (shared between retail charter and Owner)
  • Type rating: NTR accepted — training provided

🧭 What you’ll do

  • Serve as Captain on the G450 for Part 135 operations.
  • Deliver safe, compliant, and passenger-focused flights across domestic and international routes.
  • Partner closely with your Second-in-Command and a dedicated Maintenance Technician.
  • Plan and execute missions including international and oceanic operations.
  • Uphold EJM’s safety culture and premium service standards on every leg.

🧰 Minimum qualifications

  • Total time: 3,500 hours
  • PIC: 2,000 hours
  • Multi-engine: 1,500 hours
  • Jet: 500 hours
  • PIC MEL: 500 hours
  • Instrument: 300 hours
  • Experience: Prior Part 135 flying required
  • Certificates: ATP — FAA only
  • Medical: First Class

Candidates without a type rating must have substantial large‑cabin Gulfstream time and extensive international experience.

🌟 Preferred

  • Current G450, GV, or G550 type rating strongly preferred

📍 Location and relocation

  • Not a commutable position. Pilots must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Houston area.
  • Applicants within a ~3-hour driving radius of Conroe (including Austin and Dallas–Fort Worth) will be considered.
