  • Employment: Full-time
  • Reports to: Base Chief Pilot
  • Call-out radius: Live within 2 hours of home base
  • License required: ATP (unrestricted) and FCC Restricted Radiotelephone
  • Compensation: $124,000–$160,000 base salary (commensurate with location, aircraft, and experience)

As Second in Command, you’ll support safe, efficient operations in alignment with FARs and Jet Linx policies. You’ll serve as a brand ambassador on every mission—executing with precision on the flight deck, communicating clearly with our team and owners, and living our core values trip after trip.

🧭 What You’ll Do

  • Assist the Captain in preparing and operating the G280 safely and efficiently under Part 91.
  • Manage duty, flight, and rest times in accordance with company policy and CFR requirements.
  • Maintain clear, timely communication regarding standby duty, trip notifications, position calls, and pre/post‑flight reports.
  • Oversee and update EFB hardware/apps; ensure charts, publications, and company manuals are current.
  • Demonstrate sound, proactive aeronautical decision-making and consistently uphold Jet Linx core values.
  • Maintain a current First-Class Medical and all required qualifications and records.

🧰 What You’ll Bring

  • Minimum flight time: 1,500 hours total time, 500 hours PIC, 500 hours multi-engine, 100 hours turbine, 150 hours instrument.
  • Training: Initial or recurrent 142 training in type within the last 24 months preferred.
  • Credentials: Unrestricted ATP, First-Class Medical, current passport, valid U.S. driver’s license, FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
  • Work authorization: Ability to provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Compliance: Ability to release and pass an FAA Pilot Records Database review with a System Chief Pilot.
  • Testing: Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and participate in random drug/alcohol testing (marijuana, cocaine, opiates, PCP, amphetamines).
  • Travel readiness: Unrestricted ability to travel to all EU countries, Canada, and Caribbean nations.
  • Schedule: Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays; reliable within a two-hour call-out of base.
  • Physical: Comfortable working in/around aircraft and terminals; able to move up to 50 lbs frequently.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Professionalism: Strong CRM/ADM, clear communication, and owner-centric service mindset.
