Gulfstream G280 Captain – Raleigh/Durham (RDU) | Type Rating Provided

🧭 The opportunity

Lead the flight deck of a modern, capable Gulfstream G280, executing missions that demand precision, sound judgment, and a customer-first mindset. You will champion safety, ensure regulatory and procedural compliance, and deliver a smooth, discreet passenger experience on every leg.

🧰 What you will do

• Exercise full PIC authority and responsibility for the safe conduct of assigned flights.
• Plan and execute flights end-to-end: weather and NOTAM review, performance and weight/balance, route and alternates, fuel strategy, and risk assessment.
• Ensure strict adherence to company procedures, aircraft limitations, and applicable regulations.
• Lead the crew with exemplary CRM, clear communication, and professional decision-making.
• Verify aircraft airworthiness, documentation, and maintenance status; coordinate with maintenance and operations as needed.
• Deliver a respectful, discreet, and consistent passenger experience while safeguarding safety and security at all times.
• Complete accurate operational and regulatory records; participate in recurrent training and checking.
• Represent the company with tact and decorum in all interactions on the ramp, with vendors, authorities, and clients.

🌟 What you bring

• Experience: 5 years
• Education: Associate’s Degree or equivalent
• Total Time: 4,000 hours
• Multi‑engine PIC: 3,000 hours
• Jet PIC: 2,000 hours
• License: ATP (FAA)
• Medical: Class 1
• Calm, tactful, and professional presence as a visible representative of the company.

🎯 Preferred

• Gulfstream G280 FAA type rating preferred (12‑month PIC currency preferred).

Good news: A G280 type rating is not required — initial training will be provided for qualified NTR candidates.
