Gulfstream G200 Second-in-Command (SIC) — Boston Base
Join Jet Linx as a Second in Command on the Gulfstream G200 super midsize jet, supporting safe, efficient Part 91 and Part 135 operations. This full-time role is based in Boston, Massachusetts, with the crew board listed under Bedford, MA. Live within, or be willing to relocate within, a two-hour call-out of your home base.
✈️ What you’ll do
- Prepare and ensure the safe, efficient operation of company aircraft in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations and company procedures.
- Manage duty, flight, and rest times to meet company policies and CFR requirements.
- Maintain communication with the company for standby duty assignments, trip notifications, position calls, and pre- and post-flight reports.
- Manage and maintain EFB hardware and applications; ensure navigation charts, publications, and company manuals remain current.
- Maintain a current First Class Medical and exercise strong, proactive decision-making.
- Demonstrate Jet Linx core values in all interactions.
🧰 What you’ll bring
- Total Time: 1,500 hours minimum
- PIC: 500 hours total
- Multi-Engine: 500 hours total
- Turbine: 100 hours total
- Instrument: 150 hours total
- Certificates/Licenses: Unrestricted ATP, First Class Medical, FCC Restricted Radio License
- Travel Documents: Current passport; unrestricted ability to travel to EU, Canada, and Caribbean countries
- Eligibility: Proof of U.S. work authorization; ability to obtain a U.S. driver’s license
- Compliance: Ability to release and pass an FAA Pilot Records Database review with a System Chief Pilot
- Drug & Alcohol Testing: Pass pre-employment screening and participate in random testing (including for marijuana, cocaine, opiates, PCP, and amphetamines) for safety-sensitive functions
- Schedule Flexibility: Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays; reside within a 2-hour call-out
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Physical: Frequently move up to 50 pounds; work in and around aircraft and terminals
Preferred: Initial or recurrent Part 142 training in type within the last 24 months.
