✈️ The Opportunity
Alerion Aviation, a boutique aircraft management company, is seeking a seasoned Captain to operate the Gulfstream G200 under Part 135/91. You’ll lead safe, efficient, and service-forward operations from our Bedford, MA base while representing a culture that values professionalism, organization, and uncompromising safety.
🧭 What You’ll Do
- Conduct all flights in full compliance with company policies, SOPs, and FAA regulations.
- Lead all phases of flight planning and execution: weather and NOTAM review, performance calculations, weight and balance, fuel planning, and alternates.
- Coordinate effectively with crew, dispatch, maintenance, and clients to deliver a seamless travel experience.
- Uphold the highest safety standards, ensure aircraft security, and maintain professional cockpit resource management.
- Provide exceptional customer service, discretion, and professionalism on every mission, including international operations.
- Maintain required currency, training, and documentation for Part 135/91 operations.
🧰 Minimum Qualifications
- ATP (Unrestricted) and current, valid FAA First Class Medical.
- 4,000 hours total time; 3,000 hours PIC (all aircraft).
- 3,000 hours multi-engine; 2,000 hours multi-engine PIC.
- 300 hours instrument time.
- Valid passport with unrestricted international travel privileges.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license.
- No accidents, incidents, or FAA violations within the last 5 years.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
- Pass a DOT pre-employment drug test.
- Pass a TSA fingerprint-based criminal history records check (49 CFR 1544.229 and 1544.230).
- Authorization to work in the United States.
- Residence within a 2-hour driving radius of Palm Beach International Airport (KPBI).
🌟 Preferred
- Type rating on the Gulfstream G200 (or comparable aircraft).
- Strong international flying experience.
