Global Express Captain – International Operations
✈️ Global Express Captain – Lead long‑range, international missions
Take command of a Bombardier Global Express and deliver safe, seamless journeys for discerning passengers worldwide. As Captain, you will set the standard for airmanship, leadership, and service on complex international operations. Non‑type rated candidates are welcome — full type training is provided.
🧭 What you’ll do
- Lead all phases of Global Express operations as PIC, ensuring uncompromising safety and regulatory compliance.
- Plan and execute international and oceanic flights, optimizing routing, performance, fuel, and alternates.
- Coordinate closely with dispatch, maintenance, and ground handlers to deliver on-time, smooth turnarounds.
- Mentor and manage the flight deck team, fostering a just culture, exemplary CRM, and decisive leadership.
- Represent the flight department with professionalism, discretion, and exceptional passenger care.
- Maintain currency and proficiency through regular training, checks, and SOP adherence.
🧰 Minimum requirements
- Total time: 4000 hours
- PIC time: 2000 hours
- Jet time: 500 hours
- License required: ATPL
- Accepted licenses: TCCA
- Medical: Class 1
- ICAO ELP level: 4
- Type rating: Not required (Training provided)
- Experience: Highly experienced Captain with proven international flying experience
- Capability: Ability to work under pressure and make sound, time‑critical decisions
Successful non‑type rated candidates will receive full Global Express type training and onboarding.
🌟 Preferred qualifications
- Current or previous type rating on the Global series (preferred).
- Prior Global 5000 experience is an asset.
- Strong record of long‑range, large‑cabin jet operations with exemplary CRM and passenger service.
