Join Talon Air as a Global 6000 Captain on a well-supported Part 91 account. Expected utilization is approximately 200 flight hours per year.
🧭 About the Role
As Captain on the Global 6000, you will lead safe, efficient, and exceptionally smooth operations for a discerning Part 91 client. You will champion a safety-first culture, deliver outstanding customer service, and model impeccable airmanship across domestic and international operations.
🧰 What You’ll Do
- Command Global 6000 flights in accordance with company policies, OEM guidance, and all applicable regulations.
- Exercise sound judgment in flight planning, performance, fuel, and weather decision-making.
- Lead a professional cockpit: champion CRM, mentor the SIC, and maintain crisp SOP discipline.
- Deliver a refined passenger experience with discretion, poise, and proactive communication.
- Oversee preflight and postflight activities, documentation, and aircraft status coordination.
- Support international operations and clearances; ensure documentation and authorizations are in order for cross-border travel.
🌟 Minimum Qualifications
- Total Time: 3,500 hours
- Pilot-in-Command (PIC): 2,000 hours
- Multi-Engine: 3,000 hours
- Type Rating: BD-700/Global Express family (Global 6000) – required
- License: FAA ATP
- Medical: First Class
🧾 Additional Requirements
- Valid passport with unrestricted international travel capability.
- Ability to obtain and maintain CANPASS authorization for unrestricted travel to/from Canada as a commercial pilot.
- Meets ICAO Annex 1 – 2.1.10 standards for international commercial air transport operations requiring more than one pilot.
- Successful completion of background and drug screening as a condition of employment.
