UPS is recruiting experienced, flight-qualified leaders to fly our aircraft and lead high-performing operations teams within one of the world’s largest cargo airlines. If you combine deep Part 121 flying experience with proven leadership, this role lets you do both—on the flight deck and across the operation.
✈️ What you’ll do
- Fly UPS aircraft as a certified Captain or First Officer on various fleet types, maintaining all currency, proficiency, and line-check standards.
- Lead and develop an operations team, fostering a culture of safety, compliance, and performance.
- Collaborate with Dispatch, Maintenance, Ramp, and Ground Operations to ensure safe, efficient, and on-time operations.
- Champion UPS and FAA/14 CFR requirements, applying SOPs and sound judgment in normal and irregular operations.
- Mentor crews, contribute to training and continuous improvement initiatives, and support fleet or operational projects as needed.
🧰 What you bring
- Previous leadership/management experience in the military or aviation industry.
- Current, unrestricted FAA ATP certificate with airplane category multi-engine class rating and English proficiency endorsement.
- Minimum of 4,000 total flight hours.
- Minimum of 1,000 Pilot in Command (PIC) hours in fixed‑wing jet and/or fixed‑wing multi‑engine turboprop per 14 CFR §1.1 and 14 CFR §121.436.
- Current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
- FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
- Valid passport and documentation allowing re-entry into the U.S. after international flights.
- Authorization to work in the United States. Must be a U.S. Citizen or National, a lawful permanent resident, or otherwise authorized to work for this employer in the U.S.
