✈️ About the role
As a First Officer on our turboprop fleet, you will support the Captain in delivering safe, efficient operations across scheduled, charter, freight, and medevac missions. You’ll apply strong airmanship in challenging northern weather, varied runways, and time-critical environments while delivering the exceptional service our communities expect.
- Execute all phases of flight in accordance with SOPs, CARs, and company policies.
- Conduct thorough preflight planning, performance calculations, and weight & balance.
- Practice disciplined CRM and threat and error management.
- Coordinate closely with Dispatch, Maintenance, and ground teams; complete accurate flight documentation.
- Operate IFR/VFR across passenger, cargo, charter, and medevac profiles with professionalism and care.
- Uphold our safety culture and represent Perimeter Aviation in the communities we serve.

Established in 1960, Perimeter Aviation LP is a diversified Canadian airline and subsidiary of Exchange Income Corporation. Following our merger with Bearskin Airlines, we’ve grown to approximately 900 employees and a fleet of 45+ aircraft. From bases in Manitoba and Ontario, we provide:
- Scheduled passenger and freight service to Northern Manitoba and Northern Ontario
- 24/7 North American charter services
- Medical evacuation services
- Full-service maintenance and engineering (design engineering, NDT, and Garrett turbine engine services)

✅ Minimum requirements
- Total time: 500 hours
- Licence: TCCA CPL with valid IR
- Medical: Class 1
- ICAO ELP: Level 4 or higher
- Type rating: Not required (training provided)
🧰 Additional requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Canadian citizenship or unrestricted ability to work in Canada
- Valid passport and driver’s license
- Ability to obtain/maintain all applicable transportation security clearances and authorizations
- Child Abuse Registry and Criminal Record checks
- Thorough knowledge of aviation regulations
- Indigenous and Cultural Awareness Training considered an asset
