✈️ About the role

As a First Officer on the Fairchild Swearingen SW4 Metroliner, you’ll operate in a multi-crew, IFR environment, working closely with the Captain to deliver safe, efficient, and professional regional operations. You’ll fly to SOPs, manage systems, communicate clearly, and contribute to a strong safety culture on every sector.

  • Execute all First Officer duties in accordance with company SOPs and regulatory standards.
  • Maintain cockpit discipline, checklist integrity, and effective crew resource management.
  • Participate in initial and recurrent training, line checks, and SMS reporting.
  • Support on-time performance and deliver a professional experience across all phases of flight.

🧭 Minimum requirements

  • Licences: TCCA CPL with IR and ME.
  • Medical: Class 2.
  • English Proficiency: ICAO ELP Level 4 or higher.
  • Background: No Transport Canada violations or suspensions.
  • Type Rating: Not required—training provided on the SW4.

🌟 Preferred experience

  • Total Time: 500+ hours preferred.
  • Multi-Engine: 100+ hours preferred.
  • Aircraft Experience: Prior Metroliner time an asset.

🧰 Training, type rating and bond

New hires without an SW4 type rating will receive company-provided training. Successful applicants will be required to sign a Training Bond Agreement unless they already hold a current SW4 type rating.

Details of the bond, term, and repayment conditions will be provided during the recruitment process.
