🧭 What you’ll do

  • Partner with the Captain to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient operation of each flight.
  • Execute SOPs, CRM, and checklists with discipline and attention to detail.
  • Conduct thorough preflight planning, performance calculations, and weight-and-balance.
  • Adapt to changing conditions and maintain composure in time-critical situations.
  • Represent the operation with a professional demeanor and leadership presence.
  • Complete required training, checking, and recurrent qualifications; type training provided if needed.
  • Travel at short notice across the network served by Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines.

🧰 Minimum qualifications

  • 1,500 hours total time; 500 hours turbine.
  • ATP certificate (FAA).
  • Current Class 1 medical certificate.
  • Valid driver’s license issued by a U.S. state or territory.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Passport with unlimited U.S. entry/exit and at least 6 months’ validity at start of employment; non‑U.S. passport holders must also have appropriate travel documentation.
  • Ability to travel immediately and repeatedly to any domestic or international location served by Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines.
  • Comfort with domicile in Seattle, WA; Honolulu, HI; or Cincinnati, OH.
  • Excellent judgment, leadership, demonstrated commandability, and maturity; professional appearance.
  • Ability to use sound judgment in decision-making and maintain composure under pressure.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.

  • 500 hours multi‑engine airplane time.
  • Minimum 50 hours flight time within the last 12 months.
  • 500 hours turbine PIC.
  • Turbojet/turboprop experience in a complex flying environment.

📍 Domicile, fleet, and travel

  • Primary domiciles: Seattle (SEA), Honolulu (HNL), Cincinnati (CVG).
  • Fleet assignment determined by seniority; type training provided where applicable.
  • Expect frequent, short-notice domestic and international travel across the Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines networks.
