Join a high‑performing flight department flying large‑cabin Gulfstreams, where safety, professionalism, and discretion are paramount. This is a permanent opportunity for an experienced aviator to operate on the GIV series. No current type rating? Training is provided for the right candidate.
✈️ What you’ll do
- Support the PIC in safely operating Gulfstream GIV series flights, ensuring uncompromising safety and service.
- Execute thorough preflight planning, performance calculations, weather/NOTAM reviews, and risk assessments.
- Adhere to SOPs, apply strong CRM, and maintain regulatory compliance at all times.
- Deliver a polished cabin experience with discreet, client‑focused service on domestic and cross‑border missions.
- Participate in training, checking, and recurrent events to maintain currency and proficiency.
- Uphold strict confidentiality for the client and Pentastar Aviation.
🧭 Readiness & scheduling
- Manage a dynamic schedule and operational changes with professionalism.
- Meet a 2‑hour call‑out: candidate must be able to show at the aircraft within two hours of initial notification.
- Maintain travel readiness, documentation, and compliance for cross‑border operations.
🧰 Minimum qualifications
- Total time: 4,000 hours minimum
- Large-cabin experience: Large cabin Gulfstream experience required
- License: ATP (FAA certificate holders)
- Medical: First-Class
- No accidents, incidents, or violations
- Valid passport
- Ability to obtain and maintain CANPASS authorization for unrestricted commercial travel to/from Canada
- Ability to manage a changing work schedule
- Ability to show at the aircraft within two hours of notification
- Commitment to maintain confidentiality of the client and Pentastar Aviation
🌟 Preferred
- Current and qualified on GIV series, or prior experience with a GIV type rating
