Wherever you’re flying, your standards will be uncompromising. Many pilots begin on our short‑haul Airbus fleet before moving to one of our long‑haul fleets, or choosing to build seniority and pursue command on short‑haul. 🧰 What you’ll do
- Deliver safe, efficient long‑haul operations, putting customers first on every sector.
- Execute robust pre‑flight planning, performance, fuel and weather assessments to company SOPs.
- Apply strong CRM and threat & error management in multi‑crew, multi‑time‑zone environments.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory and company standards, documentation, and continuing training.
- Collaborate across the operation to drive a world‑class, on‑time, service‑led experience.

- Recent, relevant multi‑pilot jet or turboprop experience and a current type rating.
✅ Eligibility & minimums
- Total time: 1,500+ hours at the time of online application (required for long‑haul consideration).
- Turbine time: 500+ hours.
- Type rating: Current and valid on a relevant multi‑pilot type.
- Licences accepted: EASA or UK CAA.
- Licence held: Current UK‑issued ATPL(A), fATPL(A) or MPL (with hours to upgrade to an ATPL); or a non‑UK ATPL that meets UK CAA Third Country CPL/ATPL conversion routes (1–6) from 1 Jan 2023.
- Ratings: IR and ME.
- Medical: Class 1.
- English: ICAO ELP Level 6.
- Passport: Valid with at least 12 months’ remaining validity.
To be considered for long‑haul, your 1,500 hours must include at least 500 hours on a relevant aeroplane type.
🧭 Licence & training notes
- Relevant aeroplane type: As defined in Part‑FCL, this is either a multi‑pilot turbo‑jet certified to CS‑25 (or equivalent), or a multi‑pilot turboprop with a maximum certificated take‑off mass of at least 10 tonnes or a passenger seating configuration of more than 19.
- ZFT eligibility: To start a ZFT conversion course, you must have recent experience on a relevant type within the 12 months preceding course commencement.
