🧭 The mission

As First Officer, you’ll work alongside an experienced Captain to deliver safe, efficient, and customer-focused operations on the Beechcraft Super King Air—frequently into northern and remote airports where adaptability and strong airmanship are essential.

🧰 What you’ll do

  • Execute company SOPs and checklists across all phases of flight.
  • Assist with flight planning, performance calculations, weight and balance, fuel strategy, and alternates.
  • Conduct thorough preflight and postflight inspections, documentation, and turnaround duties.
  • Monitor weather, terrain, and airspace; manage radios and navigation with exceptional situational awareness and effective CRM.
  • Operate confidently into northern and remote airports while maintaining high safety margins and sound decision-making.
  • Engage with customers and crew professionally—delivering courteous service and maintaining strict confidentiality at all times.
  • Champion a positive safety culture, contributing to reports and continuous improvement within the SMS.

  • Total time: 1,000 hours (minimum)
  • Licences: TCCA IATRA, IR, ME
  • Medical: Class 1
  • ICAO English Proficiency: Level 4 (minimum)
  • Type rating: Not required — training provided
  • Passport: Valid
  • High level of situational awareness and sound judgment under changing conditions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong customer service mindset.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

  • Experience operating in and out of northern and/or remote airports.
