Jet Linx Aviation is hiring a full-time Pilot in Command to lead Falcon 900EX heavy-jet operations under Part 91 and Part 135. This is a high-visibility captaincy based from our Eden Prairie, Minnesota home base, with a commutable lifestyle and international flying.

  • Location: Eden Prairie, Minnesota (within a two-hour callout of the assigned home base)
  • Operations: Part 91 and Part 135, heavy-jet (Falcon 900EX)
  • Schedule: Full-time; nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Travel: Domestic and international (EU, Canada, Caribbean)
  • Reports to: Base Chief Pilot

As PIC, you’ll set the standard for safety, professionalism, and service. You’ll ensure every flight is planned, crewed, and executed to the highest regulatory and company standards while representing Jet Linx core values in every interaction.

🧰 What You’ll Do

  • Command Falcon 900EX flights safely and efficiently in accordance with FARs and company procedures.
  • Manage duty, flight, and rest periods in compliance with applicable CFRs and company policy.
  • Coordinate closely with the company on standby assignments, trip notifications, position calls, and detailed pre-/post-flight reporting.
  • Administer and maintain the Electronic Flight Bag (hardware and applications).
  • Keep navigation charts, publications, and company manuals current at all times.
  • Exercise proactive, sound decision-making in dynamic domestic and international operating environments.
  • Participate in flight scheduling and rest-management responsibilities.
  • Operate professionally in and around aircraft and terminals, supporting a safety-first culture.

🎯 Minimum Qualifications

  • Flight Time: 3,500 TT | 2,000 PIC | 1,500 Multi-Engine (ME) | 500 ME PIC | 500 Turbine | 300 Instrument | 250 Time in Type (Falcon 900EX) including 250 PIC in type.
  • Training: Initial or recurrent Part 142 training in type within the last 24 months (preferred).
  • Certificates & Clearances: Able to obtain ATP; maintain First-Class Medical; hold FCC Restricted Radio License; valid U.S. driver’s license; current passport.
  • Work Authorization: Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Compliance: Pass pre-employment drug screening; comply with random drug and alcohol testing for safety-sensitive roles; ability to release and pass an FAA Pilot Records Database (PRD) review with a System Chief Pilot.
  • Availability: Willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays; able to relocate or reside within a two-hour callout of the home base.
  • Travel: Unrestricted ability to travel to EU, Canadian, and Caribbean destinations.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • Physical: Work around aircraft and terminals; move up to 50 pounds frequently.

  • Base Salary: $195,000 – $251,000 annually (based on geography, aircraft size/crew position, and relevant education, training, and experience).

Actual compensation will be determined by multiple factors including location, role, aircraft, and experience.

This role is commutable within the United States; however, you must live within, or be willing to relocate to, a two-hour callout of the assigned home base. Expect a dynamic schedule supporting domestic and international trips with regular coordination across operations, maintenance, and client teams.
