🧭 What you’ll do
- Serve as PIC on the Falcon 2000, ensuring the highest standards of safety, compliance, and passenger service.
- Lead comprehensive flight planning, performance calculations, fuel management, and weather/NOTAM analysis in accordance with applicable FARs.
- Execute all phases of flight with precision, including abnormal and emergency procedures, while modeling professionalism on the flight deck.
- Coordinate seamlessly with dispatch, maintenance, and cabin/ground teams to deliver on-time, efficient operations.
- Mentor and develop SIC crew members; support standardization and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Uphold a proactive safety culture through rigorous checklist discipline and participation in training and safety programs.
🧰 Minimum qualifications
- Total Time: 3,000 hours (minimum)
- Jet PIC: 1,000 hours (minimum)
- In Type (Falcon 2000): 400 hours (minimum)
- Type Rating: Required (Falcon 2000)
- License: FAA ATP (required)
- Medical: Class 1 (required)
- Corporate Aviation: 3 years’ experience
- Sole Manipulator: 1,000 hours as sole manipulator of the controls in jet aircraft comparable to Falcons in complexity and performance
- Falcon Series Experience (DFJ): 400 hours in current-production Falcon aircraft as DFJ SIC; 50 hours in the specific Falcon type as DFJ SIC; 1 year experience in DFJ Flight Operations, Teterboro
- Falcon Type Exposure: Type ratings on one or more current-production Falcons
🧾 Endorsements and regulatory readiness
- Thorough understanding of applicable FARs.
- Acceptable performance evaluations by senior captains.
- Recommendation by Chief Pilot, Operations, and approval by Director, Flight Operations based on periodic evaluations and personal observation.
🌟 Preferred qualifications
- Flight Instructor Certificates: CFI, CFII, and MEI.
- Type ratings in out-of-production Falcon models.
- Military flight training background.
