Falcon 2000 Captain — Chicago/DuPage (DPA)
✈️ Fly the Falcon 2000 as Our Next Captain
Step into a permanent, high-caliber corporate flight deck and lead safe, smooth operations on a Falcon 2000. This role is based at DuPage Airport (DPA) serving a mix of domestic and international missions. Non–type-rated candidates are welcome—Falcon training is provided.
🧭 The Mission
As Falcon 2000 Captain, you will set the tone for safety, professionalism, and service on every leg. You’ll lead the crew, manage the operation end-to-end, and deliver an exceptional passenger experience.
- Serve as PIC for domestic and international missions, ensuring uncompromising safety and compliance.
- Champion SOPs, SMS principles, and CRM in multi-crew operations.
- Execute meticulous preflight planning, performance calculations, weight and balance, weather/risk assessments, and fuel strategies.
- Coordinate seamlessly with flight crew, passengers, dispatch, and maintenance to keep trips on-time and stress-free.
- Maintain currency, training, and aircraft/avionics proficiency; uphold professional appearance and communication standards.
- Support a flexible schedule, including short-notice, night, and weekend operations as required.
🧰 Minimum Qualifications
- Total Time: 3,000 hours
- PIC Time: 1,500 hours
- Multi-Engine PIC: 1,000 hours
- Multi-Engine Total: 1,500 hours
- Turbine PIC: 500 hours
- Turbine Total: 1,000 hours
- License Required: ATP
- Accepted Licenses: FAA
- Medical: Class 1
- Type Rating: Not required — training provided (NTR)
🌟 Preferred
- Type Ratings: DA-2EASy or DA-6X
🧩 Additional Requirements
- Valid passport with no international travel restrictions
- FAA pilot record free of violations or enforcements
- Flexibility to work weekdays, nights, and weekends as required
- Reside within two hours of DPA or be willing to relocate
- Ability to successfully pass Exelon’s psychological assessment
- Covid-19 vaccination required where permitted by applicable law
