Experienced A320 Family First Officer — Lauda Europe (Ryanair Group)

🧰 Minimum experience

• Total flight time: Minimum 1,200 hours
• Transport category time: Minimum 1,000 hours on CS-25 aircraft
• Airbus time: Minimum 800 hours on the A320 Family and/or A330/A340 (combined acceptable)
• Type rating on licence: A320/A330/A340 required

Important: Candidates who do not meet all of the above minimums (1,200 total, 1,000 CS-25, and 800 hrs on A320/A330/A340) will not be considered for this position and are encouraged to apply for an alternative role within the Ryanair Group that matches their experience.

🧭 Currency & type rating requirements

• Recent operation: Must have operated on A320/A330/A340 within the 36 months prior to the course start date
• Validity window: Application must be made within 36 months of the most recent A320/A330/A340 “Valid Until” date in Section XII (Certificate of Revalidation)
• Expiry limit: The type rating must not have been expired for longer than 3 years at the intended OCC/CCQ course commencement date
• Airbus CCQ: Airbus CCQ-experienced First Officers (e.g., A330/A340 to A320) are welcome, subject to meeting all minimum hours

🧾 Eligibility & regulatory

• Licence: EASA Frozen ATPL with IR and ME
• Medical: EASA Class 1
• Language proficiency: ICAO English Level 4+
• Right to work: Unrestricted right to live and work in the EU
• Background checks: Ability to pass an enhanced background check and meet all other regulatory requirements
