🧭 The opportunity
Lead the flight deck as Captain on the ERJ-145, operating from our Concord, NC base. You’ll set the standard for safety, professionalism, and passenger experience on every sector—domestic and international—while enjoying the stability of a permanent position. Non‑type‑rated pilots are welcome; full type training is provided.
🧰 What you’ll do
- Serve as PIC on ERJ-145 operations, ensuring full compliance with FAA, company, and international procedures.
- Plan and execute flights, including performance, weight and balance, fuel strategy, and alternates for domestic and international routes.
- Lead, brief, and mentor flight crew; model disciplined CRM and decisive leadership in all phases of flight.
- Operate effectively in an on‑call environment to meet mission requirements while maintaining professionalism and readiness.
- Coordinate with dispatch, maintenance, and ground operations to deliver safe, on‑time performance.
- Maintain training currency and documentation, including annual ICAO procedures training.
📜 Minimum qualifications
- License: Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) — FAA
- Medical: Class 1
- Total time: 3,000 hours
- PIC time: 1,500 hours
- Multi‑engine: 1,500 hours
- Jet: 500 hours
- Instrument: 250 hours
- Type rating: Not required (training provided)
📍 Additional requirements
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of aviation experience
- Ability to work on an on‑call basis
- Ability to complete annual ICAO International Procedures training
- Primary residence within a 1‑hour drive of Concord, NC, or willingness to relocate
🌟 Preferred experience
- Type rating on ERJ‑145/Legacy series
- Part 121/125 or corporate flight experience
🎓 Training & progression
- Company‑provided ERJ‑145 type training for qualified, non‑type‑rated candidates
- Recurrent training and checks to maintain currency and proficiency
- Annual ICAO procedures training
