✈️ The Opportunity

As Captain, you will lead safe, efficient, and passenger-centric operations on domestic and international missions. You’ll set the tone for professionalism, uphold the highest standards of compliance, and steward a proactive safety culture while mentoring crewmembers and delivering a refined client experience.

🧭 What You’ll Do

  • Serve as PIC of Legacy 600 flights, ensuring strict adherence to regulations, company procedures, and SOPs.
  • Lead flight planning, performance calculations, weather and NOTAM reviews, fuel and ETOPS-like considerations where applicable, and international documentation.
  • Exercise sound decision-making and risk management across all phases of flight, including diversion and irregular operations.
  • Foster effective CRM, coordinate with scheduling/maintenance, and ensure cabin safety and service excellence.
  • Maintain flight, training, and aircraft records to required standards and participate in recurrent training and checks.
  • Represent the flight department with discretion, professionalism, and exceptional customer service.

🧰 Minimum Qualifications

  • Total Time: 3,000 hours
  • PIC Time: 3,000 hours
  • Multi-Engine: 3,000 hours
  • Multi-Engine PIC: 2,000 hours
  • Instrument Time: 300 hours
  • License: FAA ATP
  • Medical: Current and valid First Class
  • Type Rating: Not required — training provided
  • Work Authorization: Authority to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship)

🌟 Preferred Experience

  • International operating experience.
  • Type rating on the Legacy 600 or a comparable large-cabin business jet.

🧭 Additional Requirements

  • Valid passport with the ability to travel internationally without restrictions.
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license.
  • No accidents, incidents, or FAA violations within the last 5 years.
  • Reside within a 2-hour driving radius of Farmingdale Airport (FRG).
  • Pass a DOT pre-employment drug test.
  • Pass a TSA fingerprint-based criminal history records check in compliance with TSA Security Program Standards and 49 CFR 1544.229 and 49 CFR 1544.230.

🎓 Training & Onboarding

NTR welcome: full Legacy 600 type rating and aircraft-specific training provided for qualified candidates. Successful completion of initial training, checking, and company indoctrination is required prior to line operations.

  • Primary base at Farmingdale, NY (FRG); candidates must live within a 2-hour drive.
  • Domestic and international travel; flexibility for variable schedules and trip durations.
