✈️ The Opportunity
As Captain on the ERJ145, you will set the tone on every flight—driving a safety-first culture, mentoring First Officers, and delivering a professional, customer-centric experience from pushback to parking. You’ll exercise sound judgment, lead with calm authority, and ensure operational excellence on every leg.
🧭 What You’ll Do
- Command the Embraer ERJ145 (EMB-145 family) on domestic and international operations.
- Lead a strong safety culture using CRM, TEM, and SOP discipline.
- Ensure compliance with FAA, company, and operational standards.
- Plan and execute flights, including fuel, weather, alternates, and performance considerations.
- Mentor and develop First Officers; model professionalism and teamwork.
- Deliver a welcoming, customer-focused experience while supporting on-time performance.
- Communicate clearly with crew, dispatch, and maintenance to manage evolving operational priorities.
🧰 Minimum Qualifications
- Total Time: 1,500 hours
- Pilot-in-Command (PIC): 500 hours
- Multi-Engine: 500 hours
- License: ATP (FAA)
- Medical: Class 1
- Type Rating: Not required (training provided)
🌟 Preferred Experience
- 2,000 hours total time
- 1,000 hours PIC
- 1,000 hours multi-engine
🧾 Additional Requirements
- Authorized to work in the United States and able to travel internationally.
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
- Current, valid passport.
- Able to work nights, weekends, holidays, and varying schedules.
- No excessive check ride failures.
- No previous aviation-related accidents or incidents.
- Must reside within 120 minutes of assigned duty station.
- Strong interpersonal skills, professional demeanor, and customer-focused mindset.
- Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and communication skills (written and verbal).
- Ability to handle multiple priorities, deadlines, and interruptions in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated and able to motivate others.
🔎 Screening & Compliance
- DOT-required pre-employment drug screen.

- 10-year work history review.
- Criminal background check & fingerprinting.
- Ability to work in compliance with OSHA, EPA, state, and federal regulations.
